On July 12, 2013, experts from Beijing Academic Society of Surface Engineering participated in a symposium on‘Technical Policies for Prevention and Remedy of Pollution in Electroplating Industry’held by China Academic Society of Environmental Sciences.
‘Technical Policies for Prevention and Remedy of Pollution for Electroplating Industry’is projected by Ministry of Environmental Protection in 2013 to improve prevention and remedy of pollution in electroplating industry, develop technologies on clean production and prevention and remedy of pollution, control pollutant discharge of the electroplating industry, and protect and improve the ecological environment.
In the symposium, experts from Beijing Academic Society of Surface Engineering and others discussed international and domestic situation, trends and problems of the electroplating industry. They also discussed necessity to draft technical policies for prevention and remedy of pollution, and rules, basis, working method, fundamental framework and main contents of such policies. Experts brought out proposals on drafting and execution of‘Technical Policies for Prevention and Remedy of Pollution for Electroplating Industry’.
