Upholding the concept of higher, further and greener, the 2017 Dragon Design Festival sets up a highest level industrial communication platform, originates new brand of service & trade, establishes latest demonstration platform, pilots people to participate in design, understand design, consume design, and encourages the design inspiration of life. Yin Hejun the standing member of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipality attended the Opening Ceremony and made a speech. Accompanied by Zhang Qi the Chairman of Dragon Design Foundation, Academician Shen Yan the Vice Chairman of Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) announced the commencement of this event; he also listened to the report of people in charge of industrial organization.

　　Sponsored by Dragon Design Foundation; with its idea of “Innovation is the main theme of times”, the Dragon Design Festival promotes the development of Chinese design and international communication of design. It has been successfully organized 11 times in many cities including Qingdao, Beijing and Dalian etc. since 2006. Its industrial influence and social reputation have been annually increasing. The Dragon Design Festival is an important demonstration platform for the foreign and domestic latest result in design field, and an important communication platform of cutting-edge design ideas home and abroad.
　　The Exhibition of 2017 Dragon Design Festival was simultaneously organized from 8 to 10 September in Yizhuang of Daxing District. More than 110 famous design enterprises of Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Korea participated.
