Guided by Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) and organized by Beijing Youth Science and Technology Center and Beijing Association for Youth Science Education, Beijing International Adolescents Science Film Festival (BIASFF) is an important part of Beijing International Film Festival. The 1st BIASFF & the Youth Science Film Section of the 9th Beijing International Film Festival was successfully held from April 11 to15, 2019, with works invited from Russia and Czech Republic. It helped boost the development of the youth science filming activities in the invited countries, as the participating organizations launched nation-wide camps or regional competitions to select works for BIASFF after returning to their countries.

   BIASFF is a deep integration of science, technology and art that inspires the youth to pursue their dreams, showcase their creativity and improve science literacy. It has three categories: documentary, microfilm and animation. During the Festival, there are colorful events like red-carpet show, panorama, science film salon, workshops and cultural programs so that participants can get insight into the science film industry.

   BIASFF is now inviting outstanding works from around the globe!
