With a long history and a profound culture, Beijing is full of innovative and entrepreneurial vitality. Z-Park, covering 488 square kilometres of Beijing, is considered China’s first national innovation demonstration zone. 

Established in 1984, IASP boasts 350 science park members with 115,000 enterprises, distributed across 77 countries. Zhongguancun Science Park, a member since 1995, has successfully organized the IASP World Conference in 1995, 2005, and 2015. A decade later, Beijing has once again earned the right to host the event, and by organizing it in the name of the Beijing Municipal Government, the city is injecting new vitality into the development of IASP.
