Introduction：

The inaugural International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) will be held in Beijing during the week of July 16, 2023.

This will be an annual conference as part of an effort to strongly support and promote basic research in the sciences worldwide. The conference will include three different major subjects: mathematics, theoretical physics, and theoretical computer and information science. To celebrate and honor the achievements of the world's scientific community, two major awards — the Fundamental Science Lifetime Award, and the Best Paper Award — will be announced at the conference.
