The 2025 Global Energy Interconnection Conference will be held in Beijing from Sept 8 to 10, according to the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO). With the theme "Global Energy Interconnection: Meeting Worldwide Electricity Demand Through Clean and Green Solutions," the event will feature a plenary session, parallel forums, and a themed exhibition.

The high-profile gathering is expected to bring together around 1,000 participants, including representatives from international organizations, executives from global energy and power companies, financial institutions, academic bodies, and research institutions.

Since its launch, the Global Energy Interconnection Conference has been held six times, attracting over 4,800 participants from more than 80 countries, releasing 32 major research reports, and signing over 20 practical cooperation agreements. GEIDCO has published more than 90 influential research findings and continues to play a key role in building international scientific partnerships and accelerating the global energy transition.
