The 2025 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference (WICV) will be held from October 16 to 18 at Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing E-Town. This year's conference will focus on key areas including autonomous driving and smart cockpits to promote deep integration between intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) and related industries, and lead global innovation trends in ICVs.
The conference will features a comprehensive "3+3+6+N" event structure, including three plenary sessions – the opening ceremony, the main conference, and the closing ceremony; three special events – International Cooperation Conference on Automotive Industry, Automotive Industry Policy Roundtable, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Conference); and six thematic forums covering hot topics – policy governance, technological innovation, safety protection, AI empowerment, application development, and data engine. What's more, multiple side events and interactive experience activities will be arranged at the same time.
The conference revolves around the innovative application of cutting-edge technologies like information and communication, big data, and AI in the automotive industry. It will deeply explore how ICVs accelerate industrial digital transformation and promote the integrated development of the real economy and the digital economy. The conference will invite leading global experts to share about the latest technological breakthroughs, industry trends, and implementation practices in the ICV sector. Meanwhile, in-depth discussions on technological innovation, application challenges, and risk management will also be conducted at the conference.
The 2025 WICV will offer on-site experience of cutting-edge technology applications such as vehicles equipped with different levels of autonomous driving systems, "vehicle-road-cloud integration," and "human-vehicle-home" smart connectivity. It will also innovatively introduce cutting-edge technology applications like intelligent robot guides, digital twin maps, and AI services to create an immersive digital experience.
The conference will invite government leaders, ambassadors, and representatives from authoritative international organizations of multiple countries, and specially plan research activities such as "Ambassadors to China Explore the Automotive Industry" to build a top-level exchange platform for common development. It will gather elites from the entire industry chain, aiming to study the latest policy trends, core technological breakthroughs, and future development trends, promote the coordinated progress of industrial policies and technological development, and facilitate the formation of global development consensus.
WICV was founded in 2018 and is China's first national-level professional conference on ICVs approved by the State Council. It has been successfully held for seven sessions so far.
