At the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference on March 28, the Federation of Asian Simulation Societies (ASIASIM) officially established its Beijing office in the Headquarters of International Science and Technology Organizations in Chaoyang district, marking a new phase in its global development.

The agreement was signed at the Forum on Development of International Sci-Tech Organizations and Global Sci-Tech Governance. Yang Xiaohui, deputy secretary-general of ASIASIM, signed on behalf of the alliance alongside representatives from the Management Committee of Chaoyang Park, Zhongguancun Science Park (Chaoyang District Bureau of Science, Technology and Information), the Chaoyang District Association for Science and Technology, and other international organizations.
As one of the world's three leading international organizations in the field of simulation, ASIASIM's establishment of a Beijing office represents a significant step in supporting the city's development as an international center for scientific and technological innovation and global exchange.

The Headquarters of International Science and Technology Organizations, jointly established by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, is the country's first platform dedicated to hosting international sci-tech organizations. It has become an important hub for connecting global innovation resources and participating in global sci-tech governance.
By joining the cluster, ASIASIM is expected to benefit from one-stop services, international support facilities and a collaborative ecosystem, further enhancing its operational standardization, governance capacity and global cooperation.
Founded by the China Simulation Federation in collaboration with simulation societies from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Malaysia, ASIASIM was officially registered in December 2024 as an independent, non-profit international academic organization. Together with the Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS) and the Federation of European Simulation Societies (EUROSIM), it forms a key part of the global landscape of simulation sci-tech governance.
The alliance focuses on academic exchange, technological innovation, standard-setting, talent cultivation, industrial collaboration and international governance. It promotes the application of simulation technologies across a wide range of fields, including aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, digital twins, artificial intelligence, scientific research and social governance.
Prior to establishing its Beijing office, the ASIASIM secretariat worked in cooperation with Beihang University, leveraging academic resources and a global network to connect more than 70 member institutions from nearly 20 countries and regions. The alliance has hosted major events such as the 2025 Global Simulation Conference and the 24th Asia Simulation Conference, while also launching international innovation initiatives and summer schools focused on simulation science popularization and talent cultivation.
The establishment of the Beijing office follows the opening of ASIASIM's Singapore liaison office in November 2025 and marks another key step in its global expansion. Moving forward, the alliance will strengthen collaboration with international organizations, research institutions and leading enterprises, accelerate the global deployment of simulation technologies, and contribute to real-economy growth, national strategies and global sustainable development.
