In May 2023, Chaoyang District and the Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the establishment of the Beijing Headquarters of the International Science and Technology Organizations in Chaoyang. The agglomeration area, covering nearly 1,400 square meters, is equipped with complete facilities to provide a good office environment for the 13 international science and technology organizations that have settled in. The establishment of the first agglomeration area in Chaoyang, is an important achievement in the construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and it will surely promote the agglomeration effect of international science and technology organizations in Beijing. In the future, Headquarters of the International Science and Technology Organizations will continuously improve its service level, introduce more preferential policies and support measures, and attract more headquarters or representative offices of international science and technology organizations to settle in. Chaoyang District will also take this opportunity to release its openness and vitality, build exchange platforms, gather innovative elements, enhance service efficiency, and create an international business environment.

By the first half of 2025, 15 international scientific and technological organizations and their administrative offices had settled in Headquarters of the International Science and Technology Organizations:
