The second humanoid robot half marathon took place in Beijing E-Town on April 19, 2026. Over 100 robot teams participated, including five international teams. A remotely controlled "Lightning" robot from the Honor team was the first to cross the finish line, clocking 48 minutes and 19 seconds — beating the previous record of about 2 hours and 40 minutes, set by last year's champion, Tiangong Ultra, by nearly two hours. An autonomous-navigation "Lightning" robot from another Honor team won the title with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds. Photos: Li Hao/GT
