2026-03-30 | Beijing E-Town

Recently, at the Metaverse Innovation and Development Forum of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, the China Electronics Standardization Institute awarded certificates to 7 first-batch verification entities for digital human standards. Three enterprises from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA, known as Beijing E-Town) were included in the list: Beijing Guyu Qiushi Business Technology Co., Ltd. (Hanqing Studio), Beijing Johnsmith.ai Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Johnsmith.ai"), and Jingao E-Sports (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.

Beijing Guyu Qiushi Business Technology Co., Ltd. (Hanqing Studio) specializes in the research and development of generative AI digital humans and the commercial operation of intellectual properties (IPs). It owns two core IPs, namely AI.TALK and Yuri, and is a leading domestic service provider of AI digital human content and technologies. With the support and recommendation of the Bureau of Information Technology Industry of the BDA, the enterprise was recognized as a first-batch verification entity for digital human standards this time with its digital human Yuri.

As an AI-native virtual idol, Yuri realizes the full-chain AI generation of image, voice, actions and content relying on self-developed AIGC technologies. It features high-realistic expression and mature commercialization capabilities, with outstanding influence across the internet, serving as a benchmark case for technological compliance and application implementation in the industry. On January 31 this year, Yuri obtained the first virtual idol identity certification in China issued by the BDA and officially settled in Beijing E-Town.

Backed by the region's strong scientific and technological cultural atmosphere, Beijing Guyu Qiushi Business Technology Co., Ltd. (Hanqing Studio) is connecting with multiple technology enterprises in the BDA to expand Yuri's applications in scenarios such as intelligent cockpits and virtual assistants. Meanwhile, Yuri will also participate in public security publicity, environmental protection advocacy and other initiatives as a "digital resident", continuously integrating into the regional development.

Johnsmith.ai is committed to providing "content-based AI sales" services for global brands, and serves as a first-batch generative AI technology supplier for groups, including LVMH Group, L'Oréal Group, Estée Lauder Group, Procter & Gamble Group, Nestlé Group, OTB Group and VF Group. It has served more than 600 large brand clients through its exclusive e-commerce scenario model.

With the support and recommendation of the Bureau of Information Technology Industry of the BDA, Johnsmith.ai was recognized as a first-batch verification entity for digital human standards this time with its digital human Koko and the digital human generation platform "Xiaoxiao".

As an AI digital human idol, Koko has carried out cooperation in content production with a number of well-known retail brands. "Xiaoxiao" is a digital human creation platform that allows users to generate their own IPs and conduct livestreaming e-commerce and short video creation based on such IPs.

As the main hub of the capital's high-end, sophisticated and advanced industries, the BDA has seized the opportunity of building the National Pilot Zone for AI Innovation and Application and the Beijing Pilot Zone for Data Fundamental Systems. Relying on its solid industrial foundation, abundant scientific and technological innovation resources and targeted special policies, the BDA is accelerating the construction of a city-wide artificial intelligence hub.

The Magic World New Quality Industrial Community, which aims to provide full-life-cycle support for innovators and entrepreneurs, has been selected as one of Beijing's four major AI innovation blocks, with over 100 projects settled. Focusing on the core pain points of "lack of tools, capital, scenarios and services" for super individuals, the BDA is preparing to build a more focused, flexible and inclusive Magic World OPC Community and create a 5A Element Support System, which has attracted 20 high-quality OPC enterprises to sign up for settlement.

The forum also released four research reports: Spatial Intelligence Development Report, Industrial Metaverse Development Report, LBE Large-Scale Space Development Report and Linking the Metaverse: Applications and Practices. It solicited public opinions on the first 10 metaverse industry standards in fields, including industrial metaverse, digital humans, virtual exhibition halls and computing power platforms, and issued 3 group standards in the fields of metaverse service operation and large-scale space.
