On the basis of the newly edited warning signals and prevention guidelines for Beijing meteorological disasters, Society of Meteorology designed and manufactured pokes, which displayed warning signals and prevention guidelines for meteorological disasters, and posters for main meteorological disasters in the blood seasons including rainstorm, hail, thunder, gale and high temperature, in order to spread knowledge on disaster prevention and alleviation and knowledge on prevention of meteorological disasters in the blood season and improve citizens’ recognition of meteorological warming signals.
In the upcoming 2013 China tour for meteorological disasters prevention and alleviation, volunteers from Beijing will introduce meteorology and distribute the pokes and posters to communities, military camps and enterprises.
